ATLANTIC COUNTY BAR ASSOCIATION HONORS PAST PRESIDENTS
The Atlantic County Bar Association honored its past presidents March 30 at a gala dinner held at the Ram’s Head Inn in Galloway Township.
"The continuity and magnitude of the success of the organization is a reflection of the excellent leadership over the years from those past presidents who attended and others who preceded them," the association said in a statement. "Those men and women are the finest that Atlantic County has had to offer."
The event was emceed by Melissa Rosenblum-Pisetzner and Jerry Steiner. Joe Sayegh, who served as president in 1988, delivered a message on behalf of the past presidents and shared his feelings about how rewarding it was to be able to give back to the community as a trustee and officer.
Today, the bar is active in conducting continuing education courses. It continues to assist law school students through the Haneman-Perskie Scholarship Program and conducts several charitable programs, and both members and the public may benefit from its lawyer referral service.
"As Atlantic County goes forward, the Bar will be, as it has been for the last 140 years, a presence in the community," the association said.
